MBS takes part in the Olympic Torch Relay

This Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the flame of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games illuminated the Pyrénées-Orientales. A total of 126 torchbearers had the honor of carrying this iconic symbol of Olympism, thereby joining the Torchbearers community.

Among them were Bruno Ducasse and Anna, a PGE student, selected by Banque Populaire Sud (the official sponsor of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games), to run in Perpignan. It was in this Catalan capital that our two representatives from MBS had the privilege of passing the Olympic flame, an incredible and magical moment.

Bruno and Anna covered the street of Perpignan, torch in hand, amidst the cheers of a joyful crowd despite the rain. This passage of the flame through the city symbolizes the approach of the Games, as well as the unity and fraternity that characterize this global event. For our school, it’s also a strong link between the Dean and a student, a great internal collaboration, just as symbolic.
